Here is the original 327 engine block from 1964 Corvette VIN# 1435! Its an RD code, assembly date is FO912RD, it was a 300 hp motor, its got a casting date of I93, Sept 9th, 1963. Its .040" over now, appears was fresh and unused at that but now the walls are lightly rusted again, possibly just a good honing would clean it up. Great solid block casting!
