Very correct, original Numbers matching 327/300HP Muncie 4 speed Vette. Less than 38K original miles. Tag Correct #923 Riverside Red, Black interior, white convertible top and matching red hardtop. Nicely optioned car including N-40 power steering, J-50 power brakes, Muncie 4 speed M20 trans. w/G-81 Posi, U-69 AM/FM radio, T86 back-up lamps, removeable hard top and white ragtop. Looks and runs great! Sat in barn for 30 years, only thing done was pull engine to do rings and valves and seats and paint before re-install. Engine compartment nicely detailed, all ignition sheilding in place. Been on several 100, 200+ mile trips, runs great, no oil burn or smoke, no overheating; goes straight down the road FAST AND FUN!
Interior believed to be all original except front carpet replacement; seats, door panels, dash all in great shape. Gauges and clock look good and all work. Almost all engine components original - block, heads, intake and exhaust manifolds, carb, alt.,trans etc. correct #s. Everything works. Very early car; #666. Body in great shape, no hit, all orig. bonding strips intact. Paint very good; clearcoat over paint some years ago shows spider webbing up close, but still looks better than a 10 footer. Very good candidate for Bowtie; has won NCRS flight award. Real knock-off spinners (Repros). It was originally a knock-off wheel car; have orig. hammer and tire well sticker) on new B F Goodrich red-line, radials. |
