Engine details: rebuilt L-71, 90 over!
Other details: sold car in 1990 for cash price of $30,000. (It needed a total restoration by this time-minus engine which I had rebuilt the previous year) to individual in southern Califorina, town's name is Chino, susequently, restored and sold by Coast-Corvette in Anaheim, ca sometime after mid sept,2001 to another individual in socal. Have not heard or seen this car since sept 2001's. FYI!! During cars restoration, a replacement BODY was used-for what earthly reason I know not-the original body was in good shape.

Car history:
I bought car in South Carolina in fall 1980 knowing it was real 435 car however, 435 was in pieces, with worn out 60 trw forgings! Original engine came home in back of my impala stationwagon. Car had cheap marina blue paint job, wrong hood, bought correct hood from Matty's corvettes in vabch, va in 1981, had him paint and install. Original rear also in boxs-apart-original 4:11 car. had original rear rebuilt over long christmas/newyears vacation up in New York in 1981, installed late jan/early feb1981. Car had correct rally wheels but lousy tires-bought 4 new goodyears and alligned car in winter 1981. Found complete tripower set-up (NO SHIT) in local vabch parts trader for $200 minus aircleaner-bought that new at local chevrolet dealer.Pulled out trash engine and purchased very nice 427 SR motor out of 69 impala wreck, installed it and rebuilt tripower spring 81, went to spring carlisle 81 and got buku parts for engine, body and suspension. That was it for calendar year 81-car was nice and driveable. Car was originally sold NEW by Tropical Chevrolet in Miami, fl
