| I purchased the car in 1974 from Ivan Bailey in Burbank, Calif. Ivan had not transferred the vehicle title into his name and gave me the title with the name of the owner previous to Ivan's ownership. But I never attempted to contact this previous owner and I lost his information after transferring the title into my name. However the car appears to have been in So. Calif. since new, based on the absence of rust. The original engine, transmission, wheels, wheel covers, hood, and some front body parts were missing when I purchased the car. The car has had minor front fiberglass damage and shows evidence of one overall repaint in the original color (Saddle Tan). The odometer currently reads somewhat more than 55,000 miles and car's condition makes me believe this is the actual mileage. |
