Car history:
The car was delivered to Union Chevrolet, Memphis, TN. Owner history is unknown and unverifiable from delivery up to 2003. In 2003 it was purchased by a Mr. W. in Oneonta, AL from an unnamed collector that allegedly had the car for at least 8 years in a warehouse / storage building. Mr. W. claims it is a completely original, no-hit car. He completed a frame-off restoration in 2004. Mr. W. sold the car to a Mr. T in Montgomery, AL in 2006. Mr T. sold the car to Mr. V. from Peachtree, GA in 2009. Ed Szeliga bought it from Mr. V. in August 2014. Ed spoke with Mr W. and Mr T. and gained a great deal of info / details about the car. Mr. W. provided over 100 before and in-progress pictures of the frame off restoration.
